Many people are stuck when it comes to how to market their websites, affiliate products and other things online. This is where bum marketing comes in. Bum marketing is simply article marketing the lazy way. There are two ways to do article marketing, write a bunch of articles and hope that some of them produce traffic and write a few articles and promote the article rather than your site.

Why is it called bum marketing?

The reason the method where you write a few articles is called bum marketing is because you don’t have to be motivated or write a bunch or articles in order to get lots of traffic. In my opinion, “Bum marketing still works”!

Why bum marketing still works to make money online

Recently I did a test to see what I could accomplish with a total of 10 400 word articles. The biggest problem with only using 10 articles is that I had to get links to each article without writing anything else and I couldn’t pay for any services either.

What I did

1.       Submitted 8 articles to Ezinearticles.com

2.       Submitted 1 article to hubpages.com

3.       Submitted 1 article to Squidoo.com

4.       Interlinked each article to one another using a link wheel method

5.       Pinged each article using pingler.com (fast traffic)

6.       Used onlywire.com to bookmark each site (fast links)

After I did all this I figured out that bum marketing works great and it doesn’t take much to make it work. With my articles all live I started to see them rise on the search engines and my affiliate site started to get sales. It doesn’t take much in order to get a lot of traffic from bum marketing, all you need to do is write the 10 articles each week and you will make some sales.

If you really want to use bum marketing to it’s fullest you should use forums related to the topic of the article and post on it so you can get links that way. The nice part about using forums is the fact that you can get a quick 100 links in less than a day by simply posting on them. Just think, if you could write 10 articles each week then in a month’s time you will have a ton of traffic flowing to your site from work you did a month earlier.

Making money online using bum marketing is very easy, all you have to do is stick with it for a little bit and your will see results. When I first started out I only wish somebody would have shown me what to do with bum marketing that way I could earn cash online without having to bust my back trying every trick in the book.
