Guest Blogging – This is one of the most powerful traffic sources you will ever have, if you do it right. The fact is that guest blogging is great if you take the time to do it right. Most people will not even bother with guest blogging because they don’t like the idea of writer articles for others and not for their own site. Do yourself and your blog a huge favor and write guest posts. I recommend writing at least 2 guest posts each week for a month and see where your traffic is at after that.

Article Marketing – Another great way to get free traffic is with article marketing. What many people do is write only 1-2 articles per week and submit it to one article directory. This isn’t enough! If you want to get decent traffic from article directories then you need to write at least 5-10 articles each week and never stop. The reason why you never want to stop is because the one article will provide some traffic and links for life and the more you write the more traffic you will get.

Social Networking – Social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter are great to get free traffic. The best part about them is you probably already use them, so branch out and start attracting some more friends and followers and watch your traffic grow.

These are three of the most common ways to get more traffic to your website, but just understand that there is a method to each one of these in order to make it even more profitable. My favorite method is article marketing and the reason is simple, I can easily write 100 words per minute, so in an hour I have 10-15 great articles just waiting to be submitted to article directories and help my site earn money online.
