When it comes to making money on the internet there are two things that you need to figure out before you even move forward; will you work full time or part time, and will you promote something or sell something? The reason why you need to know these two things is because without knowing these two things you won’t really know what you want to do. Everything online can be categorized under these two answers so once you have an answer you will be able to start.

Whether you want to work part time or full time doesn’t really matter but what does matter is that you have set the time out of your day to do it. The first thing I want to make sure you understand is what you can do if you want to sell something. The two most popular selling methods online are eBay and freelance writing.

Ebay – The best part about eBay is that you can sell pretty much whatever you want any time of the day. My advice is to get as much stuff you can find from around your house and list it online. The next thing you want to do is go to yard sales and see if you can find a lot of stuff for a really cheap price. The reason why you want to do this is because you can normally sell the stuff you find online for a huge profit.

Freelance writing – This is something that many people do and the reason is because they can write whenever they want to. Most people will try to find a few regular clients who send them a certain number or articles each week and the best part about this is they write them in their free time. My advice is to start off slowly and only write a few articles per day until you feel comfortable with it.

Promotional ideas

Affiliate marketing – Affiliate marketing is very simple, you find a product that you want to help sell and for every sale you help produce you will get a commission for it. The best part about this is you can promote pretty much anything and everything. My advice is to start off with at least 4 different products that you are promoting and see which ones sell the best.

Blogging – Blogging is huge and the best part about blogging is that you don’t need to know much about anything in order to start. What most people do is start off with a free blogger.com account and then see if they even like it. My advice is to start with a free account and just get the hang of it and then move on to your own personal blog and see if you can get a huge following.

All of these ideas are great to start both part time and full time and the nice part about them is you don’t have to do them every day. The nice thing about working online is that there are so many ideas to make money that you can use.
