The first thing you need to know about making money with eBay is that you have to get the most traffic to your listings as possible in order to make any sales, what this means is that you have to do some promotions in order to get the traffic there. What I would suggest doing as the one way of promoting your items is send out emails to people that you know will like your products. The best way to get email addresses is through Facebook fan pages and email marketing campaigns.

The second thing that you need to know is that the more items you are selling will mean the more money you will make. For instance if you wanted to sell at least 1 item a day you would have to have at least 100 items listed every single day. When it comes to making money on eBay it is all about the numbers so all you have to do is figure out what you are selling and then run the numbers to see where you are at. My advice is to open up an eBay store and have at least 100 things to start off your money making adventure.

The third thing you need to know about how to make a lot of money with eBay is that you have to stick with it. The first month I started on eBay I was selling around $500 worth of stuff but then I figured out it was because my prices were just a little high. When my second month came around I lowered all my prices 10% and then waited to see what would happen. The second months total was $2839 in sales and $1977 in profit. As you can guess after my second month of profits I didn’t slow down, I actually started buying and selling more items than ever before and now I am making over $5000 per month.

The last thing I want to make sure you know about how to make more money with eBay is that you have to sell things that you know about. Most people try to sell everything that they can get their hands on but this is not always the best thing to do, sometimes sticking to one specific niche is the way to make the most money. The reason why you will make more money doing this is because you can get emails of people that will use all your products, you will be able to sell more than just one product to a buyer and most importantly you won’t have to pull your hair out looking for items to sell. I would recommend staying away from electronics. My best selling items were all clothes and books. The reason these were my best selling items is because I could buy a box or books or clothes from a local yard sale and sell it for more than 20 times what I paid for it. The reason you should stay away from electronics is because you will find that a lot of people try to pay for the items and have you ship it to places where they can then take the item and cancel the charge on their credit card. I used to sell electronics exclusively but then all my items would sell out in a single day (hundreds of items) and most of them would be from fake buyers. The electronic industry is not as big as you might think, clothing and fashion is a bigger industry and that is why you should dabble in that industry for a while. Just keep in mind that electronics are one of the most sought after things and people will try to do anything they can to scam you out of an item.

No, electronic accessories would be a better idea, than items like cell phones, Ipads and other hot selling electronics. There is a lot of money to be made in electronic accessories. Something that I used to do is buy chargers from yard sales and from wholesalers online and I would sell them for roughly 8 times what I paid for them. If you can get your hands on a large quantity of items then you will make a lot more money.
