What does the name “Middleman” mean to you? In my eyes a middleman is a smart businessman and the reason is because they use their skills and knowledge to put 2 people together and in exchange they get a small commission for it.

Now that you know my definition of a “Middleman” I want to tell you why I am a middleman and how that helps me double my investment. The other day I was golfing with a friend and he asked me, “How do you make money when you don’t ever work?” Well obviously I do work or else I would not make any money but that is when I told him about how I am a middleman for certain online services.

So what does this mean exactly?

What I do is I will find people who need articles written for their blogs and I find people who want links built to their websites. This is just the beginning of the entire process because once I do this I will then do all the work for about 2 weeks while at the same time I am interviewing people to write the articles for them and do the link building.

The trick here is I have to get paid more than I am paying out. Normally for a 500 word article I will charge around .0125 per word and because of that I will not pay more than .008 per word. So for a 500 word article I will charge $6.25 and I will not pay a writer more than $4. This way every article I am contracted for I will make at least $2.25. I know this is not doubling my investment but just wait a second, it gets better.

Another thing that I will do is I will charge people .50 for 1 high quality in text backlink and I will only pay a link builder .15 per link. Now you may be wondering, “Why do I pay so little?” The reason I don’t pay that much is because I do the initial work in finding the blogs and other websites to put the link on and then the link builder just writes the content and gets it approved. In a normal week I will get an order to build 100 links and right there I will make an easy $35 for that week.

So how do I spend $50 to make $100?

This happened 2 days ago when I was contacted to write 100 articles about variable life insurance contracts. The reason I say I spent $50 and made $100 is because when I get a lot of work like that my writer will lower their price and because of that I am now only paying him .005 per word. So 2 days ago he wrote around 20 articles and I paid him $50 while I made around $100 ($50 profit). That is how easy being a middleman is and the best part is that you are not confined by the amount of time that you have. Just know that if you want to increase your income sometimes it is best if you increase your employees as opposed to increasing your workload.
