In a recent email that I sent out to some of my subscribers I ask them if they make money online and what their biggest problem is with doing it. Most of the people that I asked had problems with time management and others had problems with coming up with ways to make money. As you probably already know by now I have implemented my new idea of creating a bi-weekly post about “5 Ideas To Make Money”.

Now that I have the ideas covered I wanted to talk to you a little bit about how to manage your time better and how to get your work done so that you can actually make money online. Most people have trouble with time management because they don’t know when to turn off Facebook, they can’t seem to ignore an email, and the worst thing is they will spend numerous hours reading blogs that have nothing that will truly benefit them.

The first thing I would recommend doing if are not currently making the money that you need to make s to correct your time management problem. Most of the time when a person is trying to get more done in less time or even the same amount of time they make the wrong moves to correct their issues and this is what will hold you back.

What I would suggest doing is not to eliminate all of the things you are doing now but you need to set aside a certain amount of time for each one. What I mean by this is if you spend roughly 2 hours in the morning doing things that are not productive then break it up throughout the day. My advice would be to spend 20 minutes ever hour and a half looking at other things online or just chatting with friends. Just remember, at some point you will need to get back to work so don’t think that this break is going to last forever (it is only 20 minutes).

One more thing that I would recommend that you do is to schedule the times when you will take a break that way you know that you have a certain amount of time left before you get to take a break. Why do you think businesses schedule breaks? A business will schedule a break because employees work harder and better when they know that there are certain times for personal stuff but while you are working you need to be doing just that. If you want to make money online then you will resolve the problems that you have and just get at it.
