If you are anything like me then you have having the same income all the time. Last month(end of summer) was a very slow month for me income wise and the reason was because I had so much going on that I was almost overwhelmed. That all changed roughly 3 weeks ago when I went through a 10 day business restructuring that was greatly needed.

I know what you are thinking – “What is a business restructuring”?

A business restructuring is where you change how your business runs from the daily operations all the way to the monthly tasks.

Rearranged my day – The very first thing I knew I had to do is rearrange my day so that I was doing more work in the same amount of time. It was a little hard on the first day (day 2 of 10) but by the 6^th day I was getting the hang of what I should be doing. Trust me, sometimes doing something as simple as a rearrangement is all you need.

Colored My Organizer – Ok, my wife actually colored it for me but when she was done I had all my priority tasks in red, my personal tasks in blue, my optional tasks in green, and my family time in purple. Right now while I am building my business I always schedule time for family because if I don’t then I will work till I can’t work anymore and I will miss out on a lot of great things.

The last thing I did in order to restructure my business which is something that you can do too is to simply lighten your load. In the beginning of the month I was working on building 18 different websites and I had to make up about 2 weeks of work. I didn’t want to put off some of my clients for another week or so and that is what pushed me to sell a few of my websites. I sold 3 websites which netted my around $3200 total and all of these sites were no more than 8 months old. As you can see there was quite a bit that I had to do in order to restructure my business but with anything you have to look at your business through somebody else’s eyes to get the real picture.
