ATTENTION: Are You Using Twitter To Build Your Outsourcing Business
Everybody knows that when it comes to outsourcing, there has to be two parts; the clients and the outsourcers. Without one of those two things you will not have an outsourcing business.
I am not an outsourcing genius and I do not have my own outsourcing business, but I do take part in outsourcing every single day. There used to be a time where I was in the early building stages of my business, thus I had to do the work myself. At this point outsourcing was still relatively new to me and so I only had 1 person to pass off work off to. Within a few months my client base started to grow and my free time kept getting cut shorter and shorter.
I had to make a change…
This is where I started interviewing (skyping) potential outsourcers to do the work that I was doing myself. After hundreds of emails, 14 hours, and 26 different interviews I finally added 4 new outsourcers to my team.
It was only a few short weeks later I figured I had too many team members and not enough work.
That is when I turned to Twitter!
I knew how well Twitter worked for some of my niche websites to get traffic and so I thought, “I can easily get clients through Twitter”.
I was right!
After 3 weeks of tweets and 1 promotional tweet each week I was able to secure 2 new clients that provided me and my team with more than $2000 worth of work each month. I am not telling you this to brag, I am telling you this so that you start looking at Twitter as a way of getting more clients. Twitter has millions of people on it daily and everybody has some value to you and your business. If you ask anybody with a business and a Twitter account they will tell you that it has provided them with clients and that is why you need to use it for your outsourcing business.
Now I know that using Twitter for direct business purposes might be new to some people and that is why I have provided some tips to help you get started.
Tips To Get More Business
Follow Relevant People
In order to get more business via Twitter you have to follow more relevant people and the reason is so that they hopefully follow you back. The trick is not just to follow people for the fun of following them, you need to follow bloggers, outsourcers, and website owners so that you can get your name out there. Having a tweet on a person’s Twitter page is going to be huge for you especially when you tweet about your services.
Advertise
Another thing that is a must is advertising. Without advertising your twitter following will not grow as quickly as you will need it to. My recommendation is to advertise your Twitter profile through blog posts, article marketing, Facebook, and guest posts. The more you can advertise your Twitter profile the more followers you will get which will ultimately increase your potential client base.
Don’t Just Tweet For Work
How many people do you know that just promote their website without anything else in between? This is why your Twitter account keeps losing followers, you need to promote your services without actually saying so. The best thing for you to do is ask questions, provide answers, and give advice. People don’t want to be following a car salesmen’s pitch page, just make yourself stand out by tweeting something your followers will want to read.
Build A Presence
Like with anything online, you have to have a presence. When it comes to building an outsourcing business sometimes the most important thing is the presence you have among other businesses. There are many things that you can do to build a presence and one of the things you need to utilize is the retweet. This will be huge for you so my advice to you is to ask your followers to retweet things they like because this is how you build a presence on Twitter.
Getting a huge Twitter following is not a huge deal, gaining the right following is. Establishing an online presence is important, but providing a high quality service is the key. When it comes to building an outsourcing business you and your team are the ultimate factor, so take what you just learned and build your outsourcing business via Twitter today.

Actually, I have used twitter for promoting my hosting business but it did not work very well. I think I know the reason for it now. I used to promote my business only. I like your “Don’t Just Tweet For Work” point very much and will keep this in mind next time I use twitter.
